Snow day closure/delay procedures
In case of snow or a problem with the parking lot, school may take special procedures like delay or close. Please refrain from contacting the office directly. It may cause the congestion and more confusion.
1 Condition of the temporary closure or delay for children’s safety
(1) Students and teacher’s commute is difficult
(2) Friends Central School’s snow removal needs more time
(3) Another severe weather situation

6 More information
(1) Unless specifically stated, school will run as usual. Both keeping child home and commuting are responsibility of their parents.
(2) Please contact the school if keeping your child home or arriving late. We will not count students as absent during severe weather situations.
(3) Make sure to contact to the office when you change your emergency contact.
(4) In case of school closure (4 hours school), 2 hours are made up on two other days. Special lectures after school are not made up.
