Let’s Choose a Right Path for Your Better Future!
Congratulations to our graduating students!
Congratulations to everyone completing his/her grade of the fiscal year 2016!
This school year is coming to an end and new year is about to begin. In this context, you may miss the days when you were together with your friends. Sometimes you may wish you could go back in time. However, I would like you to look for a way to build up your brand new class and school year on your own and change the great atmosphere even further better with everyone, rather than looking back the past. “Making use of your past experience” is not achievable by just missing those days. Let’s move forward by taking advantage of your previous valuable experience.
I strongly feel you should choose a right way, which is not an easy way, needing some additional effort. In this way, there will be a bright future waiting for you.
Our Hearty Thanksgiving Day
~A Variety of Heartwarming Special Dishes and Desserts~
Our Thanksgiving event for our teachers of Japanese Language School of Philadelphia was held on Sunday of March 5th.
Those long desks in the teachers’ room were full of heartwarming special dishes and desserts. The teachers’ room was flooded with gratitude by our students and parents, as in the past. Such gratefulness convinced me that we should keep making effort for our students. Thank you so much again to members of Parents’ Association and those who participated in setting up this event.
Exchange Activities with the Third Graders of Hokkaido Hokushin Elementary School
An exchange activity with Japanese students under the theme of Japan-the United States international exchange was held as part of Japanese Keisho Class2.

Those students were from Hokkaido Hokushin Elementary School, where our past Principal, Mr. Tokumitsu, is teaching as a part-time teacher.
As a special activity, Japan-the United States international exchange class was conducted. The introduction made by the Hokkaido Hokushin students was well-depicting the daily student life at Hokkaido Hokushin School. Their school spirit and their feelings about school appeared to have come through to our students in the Keisho Class2.

Looking Back the Slogans
We have worked on the three slogans we aimed for over the last 3 months. It seems obvious that each class was well-committed to the task based on their feedback. The 11th of March is the last day of this year. Let’s stay grateful for Friends Central School for letting us use the facility till the end of this year!
