Be a Strong and Flexible as bamboo tree

The graduation ceremony will be held next Saturday, March 11. The school year is coming to an end. Do you remember the fun and tough times and the unforgettable moments of school activities in your daily life? These events can be compared to bamboo nodes on the stem. If a bamboo doesn’t have nodes, it will fall down quickly. Because of nodes, a bamboo stem is able to stand strong and flexible under snowy and windy days. Your experiences that has been overcome are the bamboo nodes. The more nodes you have, the stronger of a person you are able to grow into and take in deep consideration, right judgement and right action.

Speak for Others

Basic Japanese Class Reflection of High School Class
“I learned many things throughout basic Japanese session. The most important was that when you talk to others, consider their feeling. I probably will have experiences where I am hurt by others due to inconsideration and times when I am encouraged from others. I want to be a person who is able to use the right words in the right situation.” (grade 10)

“Most people don’t realize how much hurt to others when they talk. People have habit of talking about whatever they want to. I think they should be more careful. Especially whom it comes to bad things about others..” (grade 11)
