It is not easy to see yourself

We do not like other people criticize us. We often say, “Please leave me alone. I know about myself more than anyone does.” Is it really true? I think it is difficult to know yourself. Normally, people tend to overestimate or underestimate oneself, and it is not easy to evaluate oneself objectively. Then what is the key to know oneself? After all, how other people see you is the key. For example, your personality is how other people feel about you.

Being late for classes

Reading through class reports, I often notice teachers’ comments regarding “starting classes on time.” Let us think about “valuable time” and “time thieves.”
Time is given to people equally. Our time over life (life span) varies, but everyone is given 24 hours per day equally. For busy people, not so busy people, old, young, men, and women, everyone is given 24 hours, not more, not less. How you use the given 24 hours will make a huge difference in your life.
After you wake up everyday, you go to school, attend classes, eat, do extracurricular activities, sleep, and you might not have too much time left to spare. The key is how to create free time and how to use it efficiently.
Also, it is important not to steal someone else’s time. Suppose that you were late for a class or a meeting. Time was wasted waiting for you or for the interruption when you arrive. Even if it is a minute, you end up stealing 40 minutes totally if there were 40 people. You also disturb other people if you are late.
People who are late to classes and meetings will be considered unreliable. Trust and confidence are the most important things in our society. To value your time leads to value other’s time.
