The older they become, the less it can be expected that they grow to be role model.<br \/>\nFor example, if parents wish their child to be a considerable, kind and warm-hearted child, parents should live so that the child can see the way parents wish their child to be. However, because parents do not act and just wish, they have to nag at their children.<br \/>\nI\u2019ve always thought that children would not follow what parents say. However, children learn a lot from what parents act and imitate it well. If children do not copy what parents do and follow as what parents say, all children would grow up to be so brilliant. This is true to caregivers and teachers and education would become much easier. This festival was held as \u201ca part of the Japanese class,\u201d and the students from 1st grade to 6th grade made presentation such as group recitation, research presentation and songs, which are filled with originality and ingenuity.<br \/>\nAlthough the students seemed to be nervous on their way to the festival, once they started their presentations, they showed their seriousness and tried to put out their results from the practice. After the\u00a0presentation they seemed to be satisfied\u00a0and full of their smiles.<br \/>\nAt this school we do not have so much opportunity to hold an event gathering everyone in elementary. This was an enjoyable event which we can feel the difference between each grades and contents presented.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Junior high school : Fall cultural festival<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-4365\" src=\"https:\/\/jlsp.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"217\" height=\"163\" data-id=\"4365\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Nov 12, Sunday, the fall cultural festival was held for junior high school. In order to appreciate the Japanese traditional language culture, \u201cShodo (Calligraphy)\u201d and \u201cHyakunin issyu (One hundred poems by one hundred poets)\u201d were performed, dividing junior high school students into two groups.<br \/>\nIn \u201cShodo\u201d performance, they wrote the letter they each want to write with a brush on white paper. In \u201cHyakunin issyu\u201d\u00a0they competed to take the card with the latter part of poem responding to the reading of the first half of the poem.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Use of the mobile device<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jlsp.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-4362\" src=\"https:\/\/jlsp.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"135\" height=\"154\" data-id=\"4362\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<b> Never bring items unnecessary for the class<\/b><br \/>\nRegarding the mobile devices such as smartphone, tablet and game machine etc, we guide students based on \u201cDo not use between the time you enter the schoolyard and the time class is over and you leave the schoolyard. (School Handbook)\u201d<br \/>\n\u2022 Always keep mobile devices in the bag in the school property<br \/>\n\u2022 In order not to prevent the class operation or performance, please set smartphones etc, in-flight mode. If students need to contact their parents, please do it before the arrival to the campus. However, if unexpected troubles or accidents happened and the need to contact arose, please contact at 215-901-8172 (School\u2019s cell phone).
