Puberty is the time to search for yourself<\/h1>\n

It is very important to establish \u201cidentity\u201d during puberty.
\nIt is not easy to explain in Japanese, however; it translates to \u201cself-identity\u201d or \u201cego-identity\u201d.
\nIdentity is to realize how you exist or to know your essence and the difference from others.
\nEasy to say, puberty is the time to confirm what kind of personalities, characteristics, abilities, or skills you have. At the same time you will be conscious of your weakness or disadvantages, and you confirm those points and admit them. So, during the process of establishing identity, you start thinking about how you take a social role or what possible jobs you can get in the future- that is Puberty as well.

Fall Cultural Festival<\/h2>\n

The fall cultural festival was held on Nov 4, by the Inheritance Japanese course in the multi-purpose room.\"\" This year, the topic was \u201cJapanese music\u201d as a part of Japanese cultural experiences. Each class spent a lot of time tackling and researching the project to present their achievement.\u00a0Before their presentations, they listened to a \u201cKoto\u201d performance and explanations of Japanese music. There was then a children\u2019s \u201cTaiko\u201d performance and \u201cYosakoi\u201d dance, and the presentations related to Japanese music.\u00a0This was a great opportunity to taste real Japanese music on an autumn day. At the same time your original childhood memories of \u201cTaiko\u201d or bell were revived in your mind.<\/p>\n

Tennis Party<\/h2>\n

The \u201c36th Japanese language school of Philadelphia tennis party\u201d was held on Nov 4th at Springton tennis Club from 7 pm as part of fundraising event.
\nAbout 40 participants, not showing any tiredness, instead, seemed physically and mentally recharged, enjoyed stress relief, and formed deeper relationships. As a result, the event raised $1563 for our school.
\nThis is the 36th year of the event. JLSP has been established for 45 years, and it moved to Friends\u2019 school for 28 years. Some years have seen tennis events on twice in a year. This event has continued with our JLSP history and it has brought generous donations.
\nThank you for planning and operating the event. We appreciate all your support and help.<\/p>\n
